If the brake pads are worn down past the line labeled wear line youll need to replace them before you make adjustments to your brakes. Adjust your pad so itre perfectly centered in a line with the rim. This maneuver will tighten the caliper and brake pads against the bikes rim. If the brake pad isnt positioned properly then use a five-millimeter Allen wrench to loosen the nut on the back of the brake pad.
