An EPC light is caused by a fault condition in the electronic throttle body but again voltage surges from jump starting or really low battery can cause all kinds of problems.
Also when the car is first turned on or brought to a halt it does not idle well the engine shakes if you like and the rpm arrow is unstable it. Can a bad battery cause the EPC light to come on. Then i noticed the batter light was on but i didnt figure it was the battery since it would crank fine and also the battery isnt that old. The car is also under warranty.
