Are Banks Open In Lockdown. Alternatively telephone banking is available on 13 22 65. After the Eid-ul-Azha and weekly holidays banks and other financial institutions are reopening from Sunday with the country back into a strict lockdown aimed at curbing Covid-19 cases and deaths.
A number of non-essential businesses have been told to close under the new lockdown restrictions. See open branches in Level 3. However banks are considered essential and so can remain open.
In Level 3 selected branches will be open to provide essential services on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am noon.
The lockdown resumed on Friday after the Eid holidays. The following businesses are among those that will still be open. If you dont have the ANZ App or Internet Banking or youd just like to do your banking in person you can visit your local branch.
